Kutlwano Moagi (born in 1983) is a South African photographer and an aspiring Upright bassist. He lives and works in Johannesburg. He studied at the Market Photo Workshop and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and festivals locally and internationally. He is interested in the city of Johannesburg and explores different modes and mediums of working within the city. Moagi lead several workshops in Thokoza. His series, Untitled Happiness, exhibited with Tjorven Bruyneel’s work at the Ituba Arts Gallery in 2014., was commissioned by Rubis Mécénat in 2012.
