Create & Support

Rubis Mécénat has been committed to highlighting contemporary creation by providing production assistance to emerging and mid-career artists to create new work. Aware of the importance of emerging and new creative voices, as well as unequal access to an artistic career, the fund also supports emerging artists through several professionalisation and awareness-raising programmes.

Grant to support French Caribbean and Amazonian contemporary creation with La Station Culturelle & unRepresented

In 2025, Rubis Mécénat joined forces with La Station Culturelle, a major cultural player in Martinique, and the unRepresented by a ppr oc he salon to create a grant to support contemporary French Caribbean and Amazonian creation.

The grant will enable an artist living and working in Martinique, Guadeloupe or French Guiana to present his or her work at the unRepresented fair in Paris, and to benefit from a programme of professional meetings tailored to the development of his or her artistic career.

This project aims to promote the dynamism of contemporary Caribbean and Amazonian art in France, while addressing the inequalities linked to the visibility and mobility of artists from these territories.

2025 winner: Jordan Beal (Martinique)
