Between 2016 and 2020, Rubis Mécénat collaborated with the Beaux-Arts de Paris on a call for projects aimed at the school’s students, to create a contemporary crib for the Saint-Eustache church.
The winner in 2020, Prosper Legault, conceived the installation ‘Bienvenue dans la vi(ll)e’, which will be on display in the church from December to January 2020.
The artist wanted to confront the big city we live in, with its inequalities and codes, with the church of Saint-Eustache. His works, which he describes as ‘street poems’, are constructed from what he collects, what has been abandoned, to give them another life.
